Roots Voices

Roots Voices – Singing and Harmony Exploration with Special Guest Artists. 

This course will be a fascinating dive into harmony singing, deep listening, style, artistic insight and the building blocks of strong, heartfelt singing. 

Hosted by Karla Mundy and Patrick Metzger, each session will feature a special guest artist. This dream team of artists will be Ginny Hawker, Alice Gerrard, Emily Miller, Laurie Lewis, David Francey, Jenny Lester, Cara Luft, Beverly Smith and Pharis Romero.

Each session will include

• an interview with the guest 
• a playlist provided by the guest of ‘songs they want singers to hear’
• a recording of the guest singing a song which we will build a duet/trio around.
• Instructional videoand tracks of that song PLUS one of the songs from their playlist (each month we will learn two new songs)
• Instrumental instruction from Patrick plus charts
• Singing technique and Vocal Warm-ups

These sessions were added from Oct 2020-June 2021 and are now all available! You will have ongoing access and can continue learning for months to come. 

The cost is $225 (+ GST) CAD.
