Next Level: Develop Your Personal Practice
Developing a consistent musical practice that employs practical and focused methods will deepen our music making and free us to soar to new heights. Many of us have associated ‘practice’ with drudgery and although it might not always be ‘easy’, it can be incredibly joyful, satisfying, exploratory, investigative and playful!
Do you ever struggle with how & what to practice? Do you get overwhelmed, frustrated or lost? Do you have a hard time committing to an ongoing practice?

In this course we will explore structure, goals and many practice methods & concepts that will help each of you create a personalized musical practice. Your practice will be designed to help you develop your craft, deepen your musicianship and move towards your goals.
Our first session will be all about identifying your goals and exploring what a matching, attainable and enjoyable practice plan would look like for you. Your goal could be anything from a solo set to working on your ensemble singing to being able to comfortably play guitar & sing a long. Your goal could be about singing, instruments, songwriting or performing. The same principles will apply no matter what specific thing you are working towards!
We will employ investigative problem solving, daily commitment, writing, process sharing and there is the option of performance.
